КIndoor switchgears of series KU10S are intended for three-phase alternating current networks of 6 or 10 kV and 50 or 60 Hz in ungrounded-neutral and resonant or resistance grounded systems. Cubicles of series KU10S are designed for installation in switchgears of power plants of all types, electric substations and industrial electrical installations.
Design
The cubicle is a metal enclosure made of high-quality steel with aluminium-zinc alloy coating. Joints are made of heavy-duty steel blind rivets and threaded fasteners. Cubicle external elements, such as front doors, side panels of cubicles at far ends of a row, etc., have powder coating (RAL 7032).
Switching Apparatus
KU10S switchgear is equipped with vacuum circuit-breakers series BPC manufactured by "ВС-РЗВА" as well as with HD4 and VD4 circuit-breakers. These circuit-breakers are designed for rated current of up to 4000 A and rated breaking capacity of up to 40 kA. BPC-10 circuit-breakers have the commutation life of 50000 ON/OFF cycles at rated currents and 100 cycles at breaking currents.
