Indoor switchgears of series KU35 are intended to receive and distribute electric power of three-phase alternating current with frequency of 50 or 60 Hz and rated voltage of 35 kV.
Switchgear cubicles of series KU35 can be integrated into modular transformer substations as well as used as independent switchgears for indoor applications.
Design
All metal units and parts of cubicles are made of steel sheets with thickness of 2, 3 and 4 mm, and have corrosion-resistant coating of powder type MX.S.RAL or electroplated coating. All parts are fixed with M8 type bolts and nuts.
Switching Apparatus
Switchgears series KU35 are equipped with BP35 vacuum circuit-breakers with cast epoxy poles. Circuit-breakers are designed for rated currents of up to 3150 A and rated breaking currents of up to 31.5 kA. They have the commutation life of 30000 ON/OFF cycles at rated currents and 50 cycles at breaking currents.
