KRPZ-10 is a metal enclosure being transported to the construction site in separately divided blocks. The blocks of KRPZ-10 are prefabricated with complete switchgear cubicles, main and auxiliary circuits’ intersection connections, elements of air inlets and air or cable outlets. The cubicles are mounted in KRPZ-10 enclosure in one or two rows with front and rear access for maintenance. KRPZ-10 enclosure has two separate doorways, and it is equipped with lighting, heating and ventilation. In hot climatic conditions it is equipped with air conditioners.
KRPZ-10 switchgears are fitted with KU10(6)S or KU10C cubicles. As 6(10) kV switching apparatus, long-life vacuum circuit-breakers series BPC and BP are used.
