Vacuum circuit-breakers of series BP1 are specially designed for installation in SMU and switchgears of different types, both newly manufactured and out-of-dated ones.

Design features
- A new drive of the circuit-breaker has a mechanical latch safely fixing the circuit-breaker in the on-position and an opening spring enabling easy and safe routine and emergency switching off in remote and manual modes.
- This mechanical latch safely fixes the circuit-breaker in the on-position even in the case of applying strong force to the shaft lever. This makes impossible the unauthorised switching-off of the circuit-breaker when any force is applied to the interlocking and flag shaft.
- Thanks to the drive's space-efficient arrangement, the circuit-breaker has minimum overall dimensions and weight as well as a convenient access for maintenance of component parts.
