VBU-35 circuit-breakers of indoor installation are used for switching operations in normal and emergency modes of arch steel furnaces, in indoor switchgears at thermal power plants as well as for installation in newly built and updated (replacement of air and oil circuit-breakers) indoor switchgears, smelters and other electrical installations with frequent switching operations.
The circuit-breaker is a switching apparatus with three poles mounted on the common frame and controlled by the electromagnetic drive. Each pole houses interrupting module, supporting insulator, shields for ensuring the required electrical strength among poles, insulating tie-rods transmitting motion from the drive to moving contacts of interrupters and to the cover. The frame houses also an indicator of open and close position. Current-conducting buses are connected to current collectors.
